Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Trailer Repair Technician to join our growing, family-owned company. This is a stable, full-time opportunity for a hands-on individual with experience repairing and maintaining commercial trailers and related equipment.
This role is primarily focused on trailer repair, undercarriage work, brakes, suspension systems, fabrication, and general trailer maintenance — not heavy diesel engine rebuild work.
The ideal candidate will be dependable, mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and comfortable working independently in a shop environment.

Responsibilities
- Repair and rebuild reefer and dry van trailers as needed
- Perform inspections and diagnostics on trailers and related equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair air brake systems, suspensions, hydraulics, lighting, and electrical components
- Repair and replace brakes, axles, hubs, and undercarriage components
- Perform welding, fabrication, and general repair work
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely
- Ensure all repairs are completed according to safety standards and company procedures
Qualifications
- Previous mechanic or trailer repair experience required
- Experience with commercial trailers, box trucks, fleet equipment, or heavy equipment preferred
- Welding and fabrication experience strongly preferred
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
