Job Details

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in trademark prosecution, portfolio management, and brand enforcement, along with exposure to broader intellectual property matters.

This is a client-facing role requiring strong analytical skills, business judgment, and the ability to manage complex trademark portfolios in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage domestic and international trademark portfolios, including clearance, prosecution, and maintenance
Conduct trademark availability searches and provide risk assessments
Handle USPTO filings, office action responses, and TTAB proceedings
Advise clients on brand protection strategies, including enforcement and monitoring programs
Draft and negotiate trademark-related agreements, including licensing, coexistence, and assignment agreements
Support intellectual property due diligence in corporate transactions
Collaborate with litigation teams on trademark disputes and enforcement matters
Stay current on developments in trademark and IP law to provide strategic guidance to clients

Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school
Active bar admission in good standing (NV)
2+ years of experience in trademark and intellectual property law
Demonstrated experience with USPTO practice and TTAB proceedings
Strong understanding of domestic and international trademark systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and project management abilities
