Trade Finance Consultant

We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Trade Finance Consultant to join a reputable financial services organization.

A leading financial institution offering a wide range of retail, corporate, and banking services.

Description

• Handling of matters and transactions related to Trade Finance, LC Reimb. and/or Loans.
• Advising of LCs/Amendments to customers on timely basis.
• Coordination with customers in advising, reviewing, and discussing their LCs, documents, discrepancies, and payments/charges.
• Provide expert advice on trade finance operations and processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline trade finance transactions.
• Assist clients in resolving trade finance-related issues efficiently.
• Monitor and report on trade finance performance metrics.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices in banking and financial services.

Profile

A successful Trade Finance Consultant should have:

• Ability to commute 5 days onsite to Downtown Manhattan office.
• 3+ years of experience in trade finance processes and regulations.
• Proficiency in analyzing financial documents and data.
• Effective problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
• An educational background in finance, business, or a related field.
