The Tower & Maintenance Technician ensures the transmission of PBS NC broadcast signals, the integrity of broadcast equipment as related to the position and the overall condition of the 50 service sites. This position provides building and tower construction, remodeling, and maintenance of PBS NC''s Transmission sites. This includes inspections and necessary maintenance on the tower structures, buildings, access roads, and grounds. The operation of equipment and climbing towers up to 2000 feet to perform job functions is a required skill of this position.
