Detailed Job Description Key Responsibilities:

" Design, implement, and maintain network monitoring and management tools platforms.

" Support and administer tools such as Solarwinds, LogiSplunk, Nagios, LiveNX.

" Develop and manage custom integrations, dashboards, and APIs between network tools and IT systems.

" Build and maintain automation workflows for network provisioning, configuration management, and data collection (e.g., using Ansible, Python, or REST APIs).

" Ensure availability, performance, and scalability of network tools infrastructure.

" Collaborate with network operations, engineering, and security teams to define monitoring and alerting standards.

" Manage data ingestion pipelines for logs, SNMP traps, syslogs, and streaming telemetry.

" Create and maintain documentation, topology maps, and operational runbooks.

" Participate in incident response and assist in root cause analysis through monitoring data and metrics.

" Evaluate and recommend new tools or enhancements to improve visibility, automation, and efficiency.

" Ensure compliance with security and change management policies.



Qualifications & Experience:

" Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or related field.

" 7 years of experience in network tools deployment & management.

" Hands-on experience with at least two network monitoring/management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, NetBrain, Splunk, Cisco DNA Center, ThousandEyes).

" Solid understanding of network protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, SNMP, NetFlow, Syslog, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs).

" Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and data processing.

" Experience with Linux system administration and API-based integrations.

" Familiarity with cloud and hybrid network monitoring (AWS, Azure, GCP).



Preferred:

" Monitoring/automation certifications (SolarWinds Certified Professional, Ansible Certified Engineer, etc.).

" Networking certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent).

" Experience with Ansible, Terraform, or Jenkins for network automation and CI/CD pipelines.
