Job Summary:
The Tooling Facility Electric Supervisor II is responsible for supervision and management of the electrical team for the generator inspection equipment and tooling to meet business needs and requests for the customer base. This resource will utilize technical competency and skills in people leadership, operations, electrical knowledge, productivity metrics, EHS, quality and administration of activities to ensure equipment is inspected and repaired to meet utilization demand. Overseas a team of tooling electricians ensuring required compliance activities, including the implementation of government and EHS directives supporting the team on data management and EHS management for equipment and activities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for overall generator test skids, instrumentation and tooling inventory, preparing tooling for jobs through inspection, testing and repair; maintaining prepared inventory and uploading data into the tooling management systems
Collaborate with the facility team to maintain, repair and test tools
Maintain status of tooling calibration and partner with local calibration vendors for calibration and repairs
Responsible for shipment preparation and coordinating with tooling logistics partners the outbound/inbound delivery of tooling between the facility and customer sites
Inspect tools for integrity and composition; verify the part list according to the template and ensure bill of materials accuracy
Maintain consumable and durable stock to support inspection and repair activity
Lead creation of Standard Maintenance Protocols
Align with the Sourcing Team to establish and negotiate maintenance service contracts and OPEX purchasing pricing improvements
Create procurement requests and partner with the Sourcing team to select suppliers and coordinate the delivery of the materials to the tool center
Follow system standards and recommend improvements to ERP processes
Partner with facility leadership team to execute day to day activities
Assist with HR issues, employee safety or integrity issues, Time & Expense review/approval, company initiatives, and other office related activities
Accurately report damaged, missing and unserviceable tools
Respond to quality issues with corrective and preventive actions to ensure tooling issues are addressed
Collaborate on tooling improvements and new tooling development
Communicate with Facility Manager on a regular basis on day-to-day operations and drive daily management of activities
Efficiently and effectively fulfill emergency tooling requests
Manage employees' performance, identifying training & job assignments and addressing daily employee needs & requests
Assist with recruiting and hiring prospective employees by interviewing candidates and assessing job qualifications
Manage and follow all EHS requirements, utilizing safety management systems and applications
Assist management to support external audit compliance
Fulfill and implement Quality Management System and Standard Maintenance Protocols, procedures, and work instructions
Ability to meet physical demands including lifting, standing and bending as required
Travel may be required
Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments

Required Qualifications & Experience :
Bachelor's degree/equivalent in related field -or- high school diploma/GED with 5+ years of applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge
Minimum of 5+ years of Low & High Voltage electrical experience. Prior background in electronics with demonstrated understanding of Megohmmeter, Digital Low Resistance OHM Meter, AC Hipot, three phase and single phase 480vac equipment
English proficiency required
Desired Characteristics:
1+ years managing and developing employees
Generator Second Man and/or Generator Specialist Training
Experience working with generator services or products
Excellent customer service skills
Prior generator, gas or steam turbines experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve independently
Familiarity working within a matrix organization
Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite
SAP and ETM a plus
Compensation and Benefits:
The hourly wage range for this position is $37.02 to $62.21. Employees may be eligible for overtime.
