ROLE SUMMARY: Responsible for coordinating tools with field employees and ensuring they receive them in a timely manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Responsible for filling incoming requests for tools, equipment, and fall protection in a timely manner.
- Responsible for notifying the Tool Tracking Coordinator if a tool needs to be ordered or located.
- Responsible for inspecting tools when returned and making determination if they are fit for re-issue.
- Confirm all tools are in good working order before leaving the warehouse.
- Notify Warehouse Manager and Purchasing Manager of any damaged, stolen, or missing tools.
- Make recommendations to replace tools as necessary.
- Make recommendations for tool process improvements.
- Review potential new tools for commercial grade durability and job requirements.
- Make tool recommendations based on input from managers and field employees.
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
SECONDARY DUTIES:
- Assist in stock pulls needed.
- Assist with shipping and receiving as necessary.
- Repair tools as time allows.
- Cross train in all aspects of warehouse to qualify as a backup as needed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- 2 years of experience in repairing small equipment and tools.
- Good computer skills in Microsoft Office Products and familiar with Tool Watch.
- Class D driver's license.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to hear, and speak clearly with professional standard grammar;
- Must be able to walk, stand, sit, stoop, kneel, climb stairs, reach overhead, push, pull, lift and carry up to 50 lbs., must have dexterity of fingers (or mechanical substitutions).
