Job Description
Our client is seeking a Tool & Die Maker to design, fabricate, and assemble precision tools and dies used in manufacturing processes. This role requires strong technical expertise in CNC machining, CAM programming, and precision measurement. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced, and committed to producing high-quality tooling solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesTooling Design & Fabrication
Design and fabricate tooling components using milling machines and stamping presses
Utilize CAM programming to develop machining programs for CNC equipment
Assemble and test tools and dies to ensure proper function and performance
Precision & Quality Control
Interpret blueprints and GD&T to ensure accurate production
Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
Verify dimensions and tolerances to meet quality standards
Collaboration & Maintenance
Work with engineering teams to troubleshoot tooling and production issues
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
Follow all safety protocols and procedures
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Tool & Die Maker or similar role
Strong knowledge of CAM programming and CNC machining
Experience with precision measuring tools and GD&T
Familiarity with milling machines, stamping presses, and related equipment
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
High school diploma or equivalent;technical certifications a plus
