Title Review Specialist - Initial Title Review
Position Snapshot: Perform substantive title review work to identify and document risks, defects, liens, and required actions using defensible written analysis and clean system documentation.
Reports To: Appropriate Title Team Supervisor (Initial Review Ops Supervisor or Title Update Ops Supervisor)
Core Responsibilities
Applies to all Title role(s) in this category- Communicate clearly with internal teams and (where applicable) clients/vendors through approved channels.
- Analyze title records and related instruments; identify and document risk with clear next steps.
- Produce client-ready summaries/communications as required; maintain defensible documentation in the case system.
- Follow team standards, playbooks, and templates; escalate complex/high-risk matters appropriately.
Function / Team Subsections (apply based on assignment)
Initial Title Review- Perform full initial review; produce Title Summary; update tasks/checklists; handle required notifications as defined.
Skills & Qualifications
Required- Strong title analysis and written risk articulation; ability to work independently and defensibly.
Preferred- Multi-jurisdiction foreclosure title exposure; audit/compliance sensitivity.
Experience: Specialist: 47+ years (team-dependent). Senior: 69+ years with demonstrated complex work ownership.
