The Campbellsport School District is seeking a full-time Title 1 Reading Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year.
This position is responsible for providing targeted reading instruction and interventions to public and private school students. This role involved working closely with classroom teachers, administrators, and families to ensure students achieve literacy proviciency. The Title 1 Reading Teacher will develop and implement instructional strategies that address the diverse needs of students, helping them improve their reading skills to meet grade-level standards. The ability to use data to drive instructional decisions and collaborate with colleagues is an essential skill for this position.
Candidates should also have the following:
>Initiate a process for teaching staff to request support for students in need of additional reading support
>Identify appropriate methods of support/intervention, progress monitor, reevaluate intervention efforts as needed based on collected data
>Progress monitor students receiving additional supports and work with school psychologist to document
>Utilize and interpret data from various formal and informal assessment tools
>Identify strengths and weaknesses for each student based off of data
>Arrange the data to give a picture of students past and current abilities
>Daily collaboration with classroom teachers to inform classroom teachers, parents, and administrators of student progress
>Attend monthly meetings with grade level teams to update, review, and plan ahead in relation to the interventions that are being put into place.
>Provide small group or 1-on-1 evidence based intervention for students who are not making expected progress in the regular education classroom
>Work closely with the Title 1 teacher and Literacy Coach to ensure district alignment
>Complete paperwork and related duties as pertains to Title I school status
Interested candidates must hold or be eligible to hold a valid Reading Specialist (5017) and/or Reading Teacher (1316) license.
Candidates who are proficient in the use of technology and interested in extracurricular and coaching positions are valued.
The Village of Eden is located in Fond du Lac County, nestled amongst the hills, woods and farm fields on the outskirts of Wisconsin's Kettle Moraine State Forest.
