Title: Title I Lead Teacher- 4 Positions Anticipated, 2 Math and 2 Literacy at Title I eligible schools

Title I Lead Teacher to support Title I Program Administration at Stall Brook Elementary and Bellingham Memorial School for the 2026-2027 school year (contingent upon grant funding)

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan and oversee the Title I Program in eligible Title I schools.
  • Assist the administration and building-based curriculum specialists/team leaders in scheduling and planning student tutoring/intervention sessions, creating schedules, and student grouping for the school''s Title I ELA/Reading Tutors.
  • Responsible for the creation and distribution of parent Title I notifications, including progress reports, discontinuation notices, etc.
  • Responsible for planning and holding Title I parent meetings/workshops throughout the school year and assisting with yearly district Title I events.
  • Process all required Title I paperwork and submit it to the Title I Office in accordance with established timelines.
  • Assist the Title I Office in reviewing and revising Title I policies, procedures, forms, compacts, etc.
  • Adheres to the adopted policies and procedures of the Bellingham School Committee.
  • Review and suggest materials/programs/apps needed for the Title I program.
  • Incorporate available technology into the Title I program and ensure the upkeep and safety of all technology.
  • Attend monthly Title I staff meetings outside of contractl hours.

QUALIFICATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • A Massachusetts certification in Elementary Education, Middle School Mathematics, or English Arts is required.
  • Curriculum Area Certification preferred
  • Experience teaching and/or strong background in foundational reading and math skills
  • Experience working in a Title I program preferred.

SALARY: $3000 Stipend, subject to grant funding, one-year position only

REPORTS TO: Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning and Building Principal

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist building administration with supervision of Title I Tutors
