Join the BIG O TIRES TEAM for 2026 We have immediate opportunities for experienced General Service Technicians in our San Jose South Bay Service Centers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Tire care, including mounting and dismounting, repairing/rotating/inflating, and installing new wheels
- Proficient at performing PM services and fluid exchanges
- Performing PM services: oil changes, / Coolant flush, / Transmission fluid exchange, and maintenance
- Calibrating TPMS
- Inventory stocking
- Testing and installing batteries
- Test-driving vehicles after maintenance
QUALIFICATIONS (Required)
- At least 18+ years old with a Valid driver's license
- Experience with Mounting/ Balancing and repairing tires
- Able to perform oil changes and fluid exchanges with autos and light trucks
- Availability to work holidays, weekends, and after regular business hours as needed
- Reliable transportation to work
- Ability to move and lift up to 75 pounds
- Ability to meet company requirements, including successful pre-employment drug screening, Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), and criminal background check
