Job Description
Talento Search Group has an opening for a Production TIG Welder in the Addison, Illinois area. This is a direct hire position and the pay range is $19-27 per hour, depending upon experience and capabilities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work off of part drawings
- Weld several metals and alloys including nickel, copper, iron, and stainless steel
- Set up materials including fixtures, clamps, and parts to hold materials
- Set voltage and currents for various welds
- Select electrode type and size
- Use wire cutters, strippers, and gauging devices
Qualifications:
- HS-Diploma or Equivalent
- Welding degree is preferred
- At least 3 years of experience in TIG welding
- Strong experience reading and understanding blueprints
