A Day in the Life
- Kick off the shift with a quick huddle: assign work, review priorities, and align on safety.
- Walk the floor to monitor equipment performance, tackle issues in real time, and remove roadblocks for the team.
- Coach technicians on threading techniques, reinforce best practices, and support new-hire onboarding.
- Inspect threaded products at key checkpoints and confirm adherence to specifications and quality criteria.
- Spot opportunities to streamline workflows; collaborate with management on process improvements.
- Capture production metrics and report progress, quality trends, and team performance.
- Maintain a safe, organized work area by championing established safety protocols.
What You’ll Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical schooling or a threading-related certification is a plus.
- 3+ years leading or supervising threading operations with hands-on machinery experience.
- Deep familiarity with threading equipment, tooling, and changeovers.
- Clear communicator who can train, mentor, and motivate a diverse team.
- Calm under pressure in a fast-moving production setting; strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
- Unwavering commitment to safety practices and product quality.
- Comfort with basic computer tools for logs, metrics, and reporting.
- Flexibility to work varied hours and overtime when business demands require.
Technical Proficiencies
- Troubleshooting skills to quickly diagnose and resolve equipment or process issues.
