What you’ll do

• Weld stainless sheet and tubing using TIG (GTAW) with a focus on thin materials (.049–.065).
• Grind, blend, and finish parts to meet cosmetic and structural standards.
• Set up machines, torches, fixtures, and work cells to meet production requirements.
• Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and weld symbols to plan and execute builds.
• Measure, verify, and adjust for fit and alignment using a tape measure and other tools.
• Join, fabricate, and repair components using appropriate techniques.
• Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment.
• Inspect completed work and document quality checks as needed.
• Work closely with teammates to achieve schedule and throughput goals.
• Keep your station organized and follow all safety protocols.

What you know

• Proven TIG welding background; stainless experience highly preferred (2+ years ideal).
• Soldering, fitting, and familiarity with wirefeed processes.
• Blueprint/spec reading and understanding of weld symbols.
• Mathematics and measurement accuracy, especially with tape measures.
• Experience in sheet metal manufacturing is preferred.
