Essential ResponsibilitiesAs a Behavioral Health Technician at our Mothers in Sobriety MIS or Sisters in Sobriety SIS you will actively engage with all aspects of residents day-to-day activities. Adhering to guidelines in the Residential Services Manual as well as program policies. Providing transportation for client-related services. Monitoring and assisting with resident-related functions such as medication distribution drug screens visitation meals hygiene and headcounts. Completes client documentation and program logs. The role may require working various shifts including 7 am-3 pm 10 am - 6 pm and 11 am-7 pm 3 pm-11 pm depending on the programs needs.RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent and experience in working with clients in a substance abuse mental health or other residential setting preferred. A bachelors degree in a behavioral science field can substitute for the required experience. Expected to maintain a professional demeanor respect for authority appropriate interaction skills and maintain ethical and confidentiality standards. Must obtain and maintain current CPR First Aid and CPI certifications. Excellent judgment and discretion in handling confidential information.
