Theatre Arts Teacher (50-9)

The primary purpose of this role is to provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the assigned core academic subject, supporting their intellectual, emotional, physical, and social development.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or training for the subject and level
• ESL certification

Required skills and knowledge encompass:

• Strong understanding of the core academic subject
• General knowledge of curriculum and instruction
• Ability to instruct students and manage behavior
• Organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Experience needed is at least one year of student teaching or an approved internship. The position offers a salary based on the teacher pay scale for a 10-month contract.
