POSITION SUMMARY:
The Server at The Pointe's Grill is responsible for serving guests, providing courteous and efficient service that meets or exceeds guests' expectations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Supports a strong commitment to guest service and ensures an enjoyable dining experience for restaurant patrons.
Greeting all guests promptly and courteously.
Understands and executes established procedures for verifying guests' ability to legally purchase and consume alcohol and knows how to prevent a guest from overindulging.
Knowledgeable of bar drinks and food items
Effectively uses suggestive selling techniques.
Anticipates and Monitors guest needs
Records food and beverage orders, enters orders into a computer system, monitors the status of order preparation, and safely transports orders from the kitchen to the guest.
Collects monies owed for food and beverages and adequately performs all guest check accountability procedures.
Performs daily cleaning and maintains a clean and organized area
Performs food running and station set-up / break-down responsibilities as assigned.

Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Choose from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments.
Must be able to pass a background check and obtain a SmartServ Certificate
Job Type: Part-Time (Must be flexible to work varied shifts to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays)
Pay $8.00 - $11.00 per hour plus tips
