Description:
The Assistant Restaurant Manager is responsible for ensuring outstanding member dining experiences. The Assistant Restaurant Manager is expected to provide leadership and strategic direction and ensure that service is focused on exceeding member and guest expectations, which align with the Club's service goals and initiatives.
Pay:
- $45,000 - $48,000 depending on experience
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manager on Duty during the busiest times.
- Ensures a consistent positive guest experience.
- Plans weekly and seasonal events.
- Maintains a clean and organized operation.
- Ensures compliance with Health Department standards.
- Assists in hiring front-of-the-house staff.
- Maintains positive morale within the department.
- Trains front-of-the-house staff on department standards.
- Assures consistency in quality of food, service, and timing.
- Edits and maintains proper point-of-sale operations.
- Codes and logs invoices.
- Manages expenditures within budgeted numbers.
- Manages labor within budgeted numbers.
- Oversees all food and beverage inventory control and maintains cost of sales within budgeted numbers.
- Communicates daily with the Restaurant Manager on department status.
- Leads the team in a positive manner.
Experience/Education/Certifications:
- One year of experience in front-of-the-house management.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Possesses a positive demeanor.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. to waist height.
- Frequent bending, turning, kneeling, and stooping.
- Exposure to hot and cold temperatures.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods.
- Repetitive motion required, including computer entry.
- Must be able to operate a golf car in a safe manner.
- Must be able to fluently speak and write the English language.
Other Requirements:
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
