WHAT YOU'LL DO The Bartender is a key ambassador of the restaurant's hospitality, responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service with precision, creativity, and professionalism. This role blends technical skill with gracious guest engagement, ensuring every cocktail, wine pour, and spirit service reflects the restaurant's elevated standards. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable, poised, detail-oriented, and passionate about craft beverages, capable of creating a welcoming yet refined bar experience for both seated and bar guests. You'll: Guest Experience & Service Excellence \u2022 Provide polished, attentive, and engaging service to bar guests and dining room patrons. \u2022 Create a warm, welcoming atmosphere while maintaining a calm, professional presence during peak service. \u2022 Anticipate guest needs and offer thoughtful recommendations tailored to preferences and occasions. \u2022 Maintain clear communication with Servers, Hosts, and Management to ensure seamless guest flow and timing. Beverage Preparation & Knowledge \u2022 Prepare and execute classic and signature cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages to exact specifications. \u2022 Maintain deep knowledge of the cocktail menu, spirits, wines, beer selections, ingredients, and preparation techniques. \u2022 Provide informed guidance on wine selections, pairings, and tasting notes. \u2022 Ensure proper glassware, garnish, temperature, and presentation for every beverage served. Bar Operations & Presentation \u2022 Set up, stock, and break down the bar before and after service, ensuring readiness and organization. \u2022 Maintain a clean, elegant, and well-organized bar at all times, consistent with fine-dining standards. \u2022 Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for spirits, mixers, garnishes, and supplies. \u2022 Accurately ring in orders and process payments using the POS system, maintaining accountability and accuracy. Fine Dining Operations \u2022 Work closely with Servers and Wait Assistants to support dining room beverage service. \u2022 Assist with training and mentoring junior bar staff when requested. \u2022 Support special events, private dining, and high-profile services with flexibility and professionalism. \u2022 Complete all opening, mid-shift, and closing sidework as assigned. \u2022 Adhere to all responsible alcohol service laws and company policies. \u2022 Verify guest age and manage alcohol consumption with professionalism and discretion. \u2022 Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards, including proper handling of glassware and bar tools. \u2022 Maintain cleanliness and safety of bar equipment and surrounding areas. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR \u2022 2+ years of bartending experience in a fine-dining or upscale cocktail environment. \u2022 Strong knowledge of spirits, classic cocktails, wine, and bar technique. \u2022 Formal beverage education (WSET, BarSmarts, or similar) preferred. \u2022 Exceptional guest engagement and communication skills. \u2022 Ability to multitask and remain composed during high-volume service. \u2022 Strong attention to detail and commitment to presentation and consistency. \u2022 Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
