Textile Machine Operator (Fiberglass)

Location: Huntersville, North Carolina

Job Type: Full-Time Pay: $17.00/ Hour Schedule: 3rd- Sunday – Thursday 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Job Description: Allegiance Staffing is hiring Dry Machine Operators for a manufacturing client in the textile industry. This is a full-time, hands-on role working with fiberglass materials. Please note that long sleeves are required due to the nature of the material. We are looking for candidates with at least 4 years of machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment. Textile experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up machines following production specifications using fiberglass and other raw materials
• Monitor production closely to ensure consistent quality
• Detect and correct minor machine issues, report major malfunctions
• Package finished goods and complete production documentation
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Communicate clearly during shift changes to ensure smooth handovers

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of machine operator experience in manufacturing
• Textile industry experience is a plus
• Comfortable working with fiberglass (must wear long sleeves)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Able to train on the 1st shift for a month or two is required
• Good communication skills in English (written and spoken)
• Mechanical, electrical, or textile-related training is helpful
• SAP knowledge is a plus, but not required
