The Test Technician position in Delaware, OH is a 6+ month onsite contract with potential extension.
Core responsibilities include assessing product compliance with NEC and UL/CSA standards, reviewing write-ups, operating components, ensuring quality, and verifying units meet agency approvals.
They perform testing and troubleshooting of power conversion equipment, document results, and collaborate with engineers on test development.
Additional duties involve installing, diagnosing, repairing electrical equipment, interpreting wiring diagrams, and ensuring units are operational before shipment.
Required tools include multimeters, oscilloscopes, wave analyzers, and Hypot Tester.
Ideal candidates have an associate’s degree in electrical/mechanical engineering or equivalent training/experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to read blueprints and follow instructions.
