Job Description:
We are looking for a Test Stream Lead to oversee end-to-end testing across parallel interconnected workstreams within a complex program. This role ensures that testing is coordinated, integrated, and aligned across all streams, with a strong focus on validating cross-system dependencies, data flows, and business processes. The Test Stream Lead will act as the central authority for test strategy, execution, defect management, and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
Test Strategy and Planning
Define and own the overall test strategy covering parallel interconnected workstreams
Develop integrated test plans including System Integration Testing (SIT), End-to-End (E2E), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Ensure alignment of test objectives with business requirements and program goals
Cross-Stream Coordination
Coordinate testing activities across all workstreams to ensure seamless integration
Identify and manage interdependencies, data handoffs, and interface validations
Work closely with workstream leads to align test schedules and environments
Test Execution Oversight
Oversee execution of SIT, E2E, regression, and UAT cycles
Ensure proper test coverage across systems, workflows, and edge cases
Monitor testing progress and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards
Defect and Quality Management
Establish and manage defect lifecycle processes
Prioritize defects based on business impact and cross-stream dependencies
Drive defect triage meetings and ensure timely resolution
Environment and Data Management
Ensure availability and stability of integrated test environments
Coordinate test data setup, masking, and refresh strategies
Validate end-to-end data consistency across systems
Stakeholder Communication
Provide regular status updates to Program Manager and stakeholders
Highlight risks, issues, and quality metrics clearly and proactively
Facilitate go/no-go decisions based on test outcomes
Risk and Issue Management
Identify risks related to integration points, dependencies, and test coverage
Maintain RAID log specific to testing activities
Escalate critical issues impacting release timelines
Governance and Reporting
Define testing KPIs (defect leakage, test coverage, pass rates, etc.)
Produce dashboards and reports for leadership
Ensure adherence to QA standards, processes, and compliance requirements
Required Qualifications
7 10 years of experience in software testing/QA
Proven experience leading testing for multi-system, integrated programs
Strong understanding of SIT, E2E, UAT, and regression testing
Experience managing testing across multiple teams or workstreams
Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in enterprise programs (e.g., cloud transformation, ERP, data integration)
Knowledge of API, middleware, and data validation testing
Experience with automation frameworks and tools
