Our client is seeking a Test Room Maintenance Engineer to be responsible for maintaining stable, reliable environmental conditions in AI GPU board and server testing rooms. This role ensures proper operation of air‑cooling and liquid‑cooling systems, supports test engineering teams, and performs preventive maintenance to keep testing environments safe, consistent, and compliant with specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to alarms, abnormal readings, and environmental deviations.
  • Maintain and oversee test rooms used for AI GPU board and server testing.
  • Document maintenance activities, update logs, and maintain technical records.
  • Work with test engineering teams to ensure cooling performance and test room readiness.
  • Collaborate with facilities teams, vendors, and test engineers to maximize system uptime and reliability.
  • Monitor and adjust AC/LC systems to maintain temperature, humidity, and airflow within required limits.
  • Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of environmental control equipment.

Qualifications (Must-Haves)

  • Familiarity with basic hand tools (wrench, screwdriver, multimeter)
  • Ability to follow SOPs, safety procedures, and technical instructions.
  • Basic computer literacy for logs, dashboards, and monitoring systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting mindset and ability to identify abnormal conditions.
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC concepts: temperature control, airflow, humidity, cooling fundamentals.
  • Ability to perform equipment checks, read gauges/meters, and monitor environmental parameters.
  • 2+ years of experience in equipment maintenance, HVAC, environmental controls, or test‑room/facility support.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, HVAC Technology, Mechatronics, or related field.

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to read simple technical diagrams or wiring schematics.
  • Understanding of GPU servers, AI hardware, or computer components.
  • Experience using monitoring dashboards or environmental control software.
  • Exposure to data centers, server testing labs, or electronics manufacturing.
  • Experience with liquid cooling systems, pumps, coolant loops, or thermal management.
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and equipment reliability fundamentals.
