Position Overview
We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Test Operator I candidates to support testing and troubleshooting operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for performing system testing, identifying issues, completing rework when needed, and following detailed testing procedures to ensure product quality and functionality.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical aptitude, experience working with computer components, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform setup, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies
- Test and troubleshoot assemblies and final systems
- Set up and test complex systems and mechanical assemblies
- Follow Test Process Instructions (TPI) and Statements of Work (SOW)
- Complete rework on assemblies and systems as needed
- Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions
- Assist with unpacking, packaging, labeling, and crating products
- Maintain accuracy and quality throughout the testing process
- Follow safety and production procedures at all times
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of related manufacturing, testing, or production experience required
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer knowledge, including word processors, spreadsheets, and databases
- Familiarity with computer hardware and components
- Ability to lift, push, and move up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working on ladders or stools when needed
- High school diploma or GED required
