The Onshore Test Manager/Test Lead is accountable for driving and overseeing end-to-end testing activities across multiple business and technology workstreams, ensuring the successful execution of System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression Testing, and End-to-End (E2E) Testing. This role serves as the key point of coordination between Business, Technology, QA, Production Support teams, and external stakeholders, ensuring test readiness, comprehensive test planning, seamless execution, effective defect governance, stakeholder communication, risk management, and overall release quality.

• The Onshore Test Manager/Test Lead is accountable for driving and overseeing end-to-end testing activities across multiple business and technology workstreams, ensuring the successful execution of System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression Testing, and End-to-End (E2E) Testing.
• This role serves as the key point of coordination between Business, Technology, QA, Production Support teams, and external stakeholders, ensuring test readiness, comprehensive test planning, seamless execution, effective defect governance, stakeholder communication, risk management, and overall release quality.
• The Test Lead is also responsible for facilitating testing sign-offs, managing dependencies, and ensuring that all quality objectives are met before production deployment.
• A strong understanding of business processes and be capable of identifying critical risks and edge cases.
• They should challenge requirements by asking insightful, real-world scenario-based questions that validate business workflows, exception handling, data integrity, compliance requirements, and customer impact across integrated systems.
• This proactive approach helps uncover hidden gaps early and ensures robust test coverage aligned with business objectives.

 
Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of Testing / QA experience with at least 3–5 years in Test Lead or Test Manager roles.
• Strong experience in:
  SIT, UAT, Regression, E2E Testing
  Test Planning and Governance
  Defect Management
  Stakeholder Management
  Risk and Issue Management
• Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO), SharePoint, Jira, Client ALM, or equivalent test management tools.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience working across distributed global teams.
• Proven ability to coordinate large-scale testing programs involving multiple applications and dependencies

 
Key Responsibilities
Test Planning & Governance

• Develop and maintain Test Strategy, Test Plans, test schedules, and execution roadmaps.
• Define testing scope, objectives, entry/exit criteria, dependencies, and success measures.
• Coordinate testing activities across multiple applications, business groups, and regions.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise testing standards and governance processes.

 
UAT & Business Engagement

• Coordinate business users, SMEs, and application teams to ensure UAT readiness.
• Facilitate business review of test scenarios, test cases, and expected resultsManage UAT sign-off processes and maintain testing traceability.
• Drive stakeholder engagement and business partner alignment throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Test Coordination & Execution
• Lead SIT, UAT, regression, and end-to-end testing activities.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Development, Support, Infrastructure, and Business SMEs.
• Track execution progress, identify bottlenecks, and escalate risks proactively.
• Ensure environment readiness, test data availability, account setup, and interface connectivity.

 
Defect & Risk Management

• Drive defect triage meetings and remediation tracking.
• Manage testing risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
• Coordinate retesting and regression activities after defect resolution.
• Provide regular status reporting to program leadership and stakeholders.
• Test Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain testing artifacts in ADO and SharePoint.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, defects, and test results.
• Produce daily/weekly testing dashboards and status reports.
• Prepare SIT/UAT Test Summary Reports and support phase exit sign-offs.

 
Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Coordinate with business owners, product owners, technology leads, and external application teams.
• Manage testing dependencies across boundary applications and integrated systems.
• Facilitate communication between regional teams (e.g., Chicago, London, Singapore) and program leadership.
