About the Role:
- Conduct testing on advanced automotive electrical components
- Create detailed test plans and reports, maintaining organized records
- Develop and execute tests aligned with industry standards
- Operate high-power testing equipment safely
- Design and build specialized test fixtures
- Collaborate with Design Engineering, Quality Assurance, and customers
- Apply DOE and HALT testing techniques
- Perform qualification and first-article testing
- Innovate to expand testing capabilities and coordinate with third-party labs
Ideal Candidate:
- ITAR compliance required
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree
- 5+ years product testing experience, preferably in automotive
- Experience with DAQ systems, LabView preferred
- Strong analytical skills; experience with military/automotive standards a plus
- Knowledge of scripting and simulation tools like PSpice, Matlab, or Simulink is advantageous
