Job Title: Test Engineer III Job Location: Mineral, VA Job Duration: 11-12 Months (possibility of extension) Preferred Candidate Location: What is the preferred candidate location (local, non-local, remote?) and is there flexibility? Work on-site with per diem opportunity. Hybrid offered: 3 days on-site and 1 day remote each week. Responsibilities: Support of the Digital upgrade project for Subsequent License Renewal. Reviewing vendor test procedures for accuracy of testing a Productst design documentation. Witnessing Factory Acceptance Tests at vendor facilities. Identifying critical requirements to be performed during Site Acceptance Testing. Writing Site Acceptance Test procedures to be performed a cyber controlled, owner facility. Directing and performing Site Acceptance Test procedures at Surry Power Station. Supporting overall project design and implementation. Top Required Skills: 6+ years building, troubleshooting, or operating PLCs or DCS platform in an industrial environment. 6+ years in a maintenance, operations, and/or engineering role in manufacturing, industrial, or nuclear industry. Strong oral, written, verbal, and computer skills. Computer skills include Microsoft and Adobe applications. Soft Skill Requirements: Strong communication skills. Self-motivated and high level of organizational skills. Ability to lead, collaborate, and work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams. Nice to Have Skills: Emerson/Westinghouse Ovation Experience. FrameMaker, Documentum, or other document management experience. Formal experience as a technical procedure writer. Nuclear operations or maintenance experience. Familiarity with EPRI Digital Systems Engineering guideline (DEG). Preferred Experience: Preferred Years of Experience: 10+ years of writing technical procedures or 5+ years with either a nuclear operations or maintenance background. High Level Project Overview: Supporting Station Procedures Department for Subsequent License Renewal (SLR) design changes. Responsibilities: Marking up / revising procedures associated with SLR design changes. Education: No specific requirements.
