• Software testing background rn
• Understanding of DevSecOps rn
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently and with others rn
• Ability to articulate technical concepts orally and in written form rn
• Experience developing formal test documentation (plans, procedures, reports) rn
• Proficiency in Python or other programming languages for test automation rn
• Proficiency with Linux operating system rn
• Familiarity with enterprise, cloud-based, or containerized architectures rn
• Current Secret level clearance required rn
• Bachelor's degree in STEM fields rn
• 2-5+ years of experience in software or system testing within DoD or mission-critical environments rn

• Background in space ground systems, mission processing, or command-and-control systems rn
• Experience with FORGE MDPAF rn
• Familiarity with commercial test equipment such as Spectrum Analyzer, Vector Network Analyzer, Oscilloscope, WAN Emulator, etc. rn
• Experience supporting developmental and operational test in a government acquisition environment rn

Salary Range: $95,000-$145,000

Kratos is seeking Systems Integration Test Engineers for a large space ground system program. This role is responsible for testing enterprise software applications deployed on the FORGE Mission Data Processing Application Framework (MDPAF) and integrated with Kratos' OpenSpace OpsCenter platform. The engineer will develop and execute formal test documentation, support requirements verification, participate in operational test events, and implement automated testing solutions to ensure mission readiness.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Develop test plans, test cases, and detailed test procedures for applications deployed on FORGE MDPAF and integrated with Kratos OpenSpace OpsCenter. rn
• Execute functional, integration, regression, and performance test procedures. rn
• Verify software and system requirements during contractor-led test events. rn
• Draft formal test reports and document discrepancies; track issues to resolution. rn
• Participate in system validation and operational test activities. rn
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python or other programming languages. rn
• Collaborate with developers, systems engineers, cybersecurity, and government stakeholders to ensure compliance with Space Force standards and mission objectives. rn
