This position is based at the Cedar Rapids Main Campus. Regular working hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Occasional evenings, weekends, and work at other locations may be required based on operational needs.
GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
The Test Center Supervisor provides operational leadership for Kirkwoods Test Center and is responsible for the effective delivery of testing services across all locations. The Supervisor oversees daily operations, supervises and develops staff, manages testing processes and resources, and ensures secure, accessible, and student-centered testing services.
Under the direction of the Learning Commons Director and working collaboratively with Learning Commons leadership, the Supervisor implements departmental goals, supports continuous improvement efforts, and contributes to assessment and planning initiatives. The Supervisor is responsible for hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, and evaluating staff; maintaining operational procedures and documentation; monitoring service trends and testing volumes; and recommending improvements to services, processes, and technology.
The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, experience supervising teams and managing operations, and a commitment to student service, accountability, and continuous improvement.
