Territory Sales Representative - Greater Pomona/SoCal Area

Join our team as a Territory Sales Representative and play a key role in driving growth across Southern California's dynamic foodservice market. In this home office-based role, ideally located in the Greater Pomona area, you'll build strong customer relationships, grow existing business, and uncover new opportunities to expand our presence with foodservice operators and distributors. What You Will Do:

• Maximize Commercial and Non-Commercial sales (Healthcare, College & University, Recreation, Business & Industry, and K-12 Schools foodservice operators/bids) for 50 - 60 accounts in assigned territory by effectively penetrating accounts, driving contract compliance, and increasing sales
• Manage select distributors in market by developing strategic marketing plans to engage DSR's, corporate chefs and business development managers to expand reach/grow sales with end user operators
• Collaborate with Sales Team members in market to coordinate sales activities at the customer account level
• Develop operator business plans in conjunction with market plans
• Support and execute product presentations and demonstrations in commercial foodservice kitchens
• Attend Sales Meetings, Training Sessions, Food Shows, and industry events to network with prospective accounts
• Ensure accurate operator sales activity is recorded via centralized reporting system, Salesforce.com
• Follow sales process that includes gathering information, uncovering needs, presenting features and benefits, providing solutions, and closing sales with assigned operators
• Help lead and support distributor and operator events in Southern California
• Local travel in the market 3 to 4 days per week with a few overnights per month

What We Look For:

• Bachelor's degree or Culinary Arts degree (or equivalent years in food service) and 2+ years of experience in the food service industry, ideally foodservice sales
• Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and sales CRM system
• Previous experience conducting sales calls in commercial kitchens and preparing food as part of the sales process helpful

What We Offer:

The base salary range for this position is $60,000 to $90,000 annually, with eligibility for a 15% annual incentive bonus based on organizational performance and car allowance. The range reflects factors such as experience, skills, education, certifications, and location, and starting salary may fall anywhere within the stated range.
