Responsibilities:

What You’ll Do

 

As a Territory Sales Representative – Forestry Equipment, you’ll drive business growth across your assigned region:

  • Develop and manage your forestry equipment sales territory
  • Prospect new customers while expanding existing accounts
  • Conduct job site visits and equipment demonstrations
  • Identify customer needs and recommend tailored solutions
  • Manage your pipeline, forecasts, and customer data in CRM systems
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a strong customer experience
  • Educate customers on purchasing, financing, and rental options
  • Travel regularly throughout your assigned territory
Qualifications:

What You Bring

 

  • Experience in field sales (equipment, construction, forestry, or similar industries preferred)
  • Proven ability to build and manage a sales territory
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-starter mindset with accountability and follow-through
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and basic business systems
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel

(Forestry or heavy equipment experience is a strong plus)

Milton CAT is the Caterpillar Dealer for the Northeast region of the United States. Our territory includes Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and upstate New York.
