The salary range for this position is $65,000 - 65,000 Annually. Additional compensation will include eligibility to earn a performance-based commission monthly plus annual bonus. Total compensation potential is $100,000, based on achieving targeted goals.
Purpose of the Position:
The Territory Sales Representative - Residential - prospects, qualifies, and closes new customers by selling propane solutions in a specific geographic assignment. Meets and exceeds goals for Total Profit, Volume Growth, and Non-Propane Gross Profit for the Residential Segment. The TSR-Residential will have a primary focus on Residential Builders, HOA's and Residential OPS systems.
Distinguishing Characteristics:
• Ability to establish and develop both internal and external relationships, present sales proposals and build client accounts. • Understands AmeriGas business and is an expert on products, business segments and selling process. • Understands the Residential Construction Industry and has the ability to develop a strong network of Builder partners, HOA leaders and OPS communities.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
• Must have all sales skills necessary to prospect and close new customers. • Must have complete understanding of propane products and services. • Must be able to maintain a high level of productivity through careful planning and execution.
Education and Previous Experience Required:
• High School education or equivalent required. College degree preferred. • Requires a minimum of 3 years sales experience. Experience working with Residential Home Builders preferred.
