Role Overview
Field-driven B2B sales role focused on new business development, combined with team leadership and operational involvement. Responsible for managing a defined territory, generating consistent revenue, and expanding market presence through salons, distributors, and local beauty communities.
Target monthly revenue: ~$50,000 (80% from new business development). Existing base of ~$40,000 supported by e-commerce/social media channels.
Core Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Development: Develop new salon clients, distributors, and community partners. Drive bulk orders through relationship-based selling. Cold calling, grassroots outreach, hands-on BD required.
- Territory & Account Management: Maintain and grow existing accounts. Conduct in-person visits. Ensure strong product presence.
- Team Leadership (~30%): Lead a small local team of 3–5 store staff. Build performance-driven culture.
- Operations Support: Oversee basic warehouse operations, inventory coordination, order fulfillment.
- Community-Based Sales: Build relationships within local beauty ecosystems — stylists, salon owners, independent retailers.
Must-Have Requirements
- Experience with wigs/hair extensions OR professional hair products
- Ability to build relationships with salons, distributors, offline communities
- Strong sales hunting ability — cold calling, grassroots outreach, hands-on BD
- Experience in field/in-person sales environments
- Experience managing or mentoring a small team

- Black beauty or hair industry
- Beauty supply or salon distribution
- Vape, convenience retail, or FMCG field sales
- High-frequency, relationship-driven offline sales
Compensation
- Hourly: $28–$45/hr (monthly equivalent ~$6,000–$10,000+)
- Performance-based bonuses
- Holiday bonuses ($150/eligible holiday after 2 months)

Each location operates as a wholesale store (office + showroom + attached warehouse) — NOT a traditional retail store. This is a B2B sales role requiring the ability to sell to salons/distributors and support them in selling to end customers (product education, market trends).
