To find out more, please visit Territory Manager manages and develops the business by serving our current customers and acquiring new customers within their assigned geographic territory. The geographic territory for this role is South Texas (all of Texas, south of Dallas).JOB FUNCTIONSConsistently exceeds sales goals in geographic territoryImplement efficient territory management system to optimize call cycle to current and prospective customersUnderstand the focus of the customer's practice and help them to thrive by implementing our products and programsUtilize consultative selling techniques to grow the businessFocus sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of each account.Provide extraordinary service to existing accountsEducate customers on new and existing productsSupport HCP's on implementation of nutrition into their practiceAcquire new customers through effective prospecting strategiesUtilize company provided technology to manage territory sales and input activities on a daily basisMonitor competition by gathering marketplace information on pricing, products and servicesAttend required trade shows and report all leads back to the appropriate team membersCommunicate monthly with at least your top 50 purchasing accountsEffectively promote engagement in our professional educational events for HCP'sContinuously study to learn not only our products, but nutritional and functional medicine to become an outstanding asset to our customersQUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Education:Bachelor's degree in business or related field, preferred, but not required.Experience:Experience working with Functional Medicine & Integrative Practitioners MD, DO, PA, NP and Nutrition Professionals strongly preferred. Industry experience and/or clinical knowledge of cognition and microbiome, women's health and wellness, required.Minimum of 2+ years of experience in an outside sales roleDemonstrated success in previous outside sales role utilizing value-based system selling, consultative selling and/or Professional Sales Skills (PSS) required.Skills & abilities:Organized, strategic, and high drive for providing extraordinary serviceA customer service orientation, ability to speak well, and be able to persuade.Active listening to be able to give one's full attention to others is essential.Negotiation skills are vital in bringing people together and to reconcile differences.Social Perceptiveness, being aware of others reaction and understanding why they react as they do.Able to identify complex problems, develop options, and implement solutions.Ability to work independently displaying high level of self-management skillsProven ability to consistently meet or exceed sales quotasExcellent communication, negotiation and sales skillsHighly motivated and target drivenStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility and willingness to learn products and industry-specific knowledgeAbility to travel by car and plane frequentlyStrong Team Player: Demonstrates exceptional collaboration skills, fosters team unity while maintaining an open-minded approach to learn from colleagues.Values diverse perspectives and contributes to a positive inclusive team environment when cross-collaborating with other departments and team members.Basic computer skills, Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.Knowledge of HubSpot a plus but not required.NOTE: We are seeking a salesperson to cover the territory in Texas, south of Dallas.
