This is a CONTINUOUS recruitment for an applicant POOL to fill temporary TERM Assistant Instructor assignments on an as-needed basis. Departments or Divisions will refer to the POOL of applications on file to fill temporary assignments as the need arises. You will be contacted by the hiring manager should the department/division be interested in scheduling an interview. Job Description Summary
The purpose of this position is to oversee the Math Learning Center (MLC). The successful applicant will tutor/teach various math-related subjects as well as perform administrative duties.
This position is full-time, requiring 40 hours per week, working nights and weekends and travel to multiple campuses.
Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field AND a minimum of 21 college credit hours in Mathematics.

Teach/Tutor math-related subjects such as developmental math, College Algebra, Trigonometry, Statistics, Calculus, Differential Equation, Calculus and Mathematical topics related to Business, Computer Science, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Music, Kinesiology, Psychology.

Assist in daily activities such as record keeping and scheduling.

Promote and advertises MLC resources, activities, and mathematical seminars at student functions.

Train part-time staff.

Report on MLC attendance.
