The department offers Certificate in Cyber Security AAS and BS in Information Technology IT BS in Computer Science CS and BA in Mathematics degrees. The teaching load for this position will be 24 undergraduate hours per academic year of Computer Science CS Information Technology IT Management Information Systems MIS and Cybersecurity courses. This position will begin in August 2026 and is a full-time ten-month faculty position.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSCandidates applying for this position must have a PhD in Computer Science Information Technology or a closely related field. Applicants who are doctoral degree candidates may be considered for this position but if hired and the degree has not been earned by the start of the employment period the initial appointment will be made at the rank and salary of Instructor and will only be converted upon documented completion of the degree in accord with the conditions specified in the offer letter.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS· Preference will be given to candidates withexpertise in emerging and growing computing areas such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Data Science and Analytics and Cloud Computing.· Demonstrated experience teaching at the college level.· Demonstrated commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching to 1st generation and non-traditional students at college level. · Ability to work collegially in a team environment.RESPONSIBILITIESStandard teaching load of 24 credit hours per year of undergraduate courses in Computer Science Information Technology Cybersecurity and Management Information Systems.
