Duties and Responsibilities:
- Takes court reservation times as needed under club rules.
- Maintains up-to-date miscellaneous information regarding play, etc. to provide to players as they check in.
- Answers tennis shop telephone(s).
- Checks players in and collects fees.
- Processes charges using computer application and POS system
- Assists with displaying tennis shop merchandise.
- Performs daily inventory count.
- Assists in preparation of tennis programs and tournaments.
- Assists customers in selection of merchandise.
- Keeps up with special events (tennis tournaments, etc.).
- Maintains a direct communication with the Ritz-Carlton Concierge and Member Concierge.
- Manages messages and calendars for tennis professionals.
- Cleans and straightens tennis shop as needed.
- Restocks supplies, as needed.
- Assists Tennis Professionals in every day duties.
- Assists other Tennis staff, as needed.
Qualifications/Requirements/Experience/Education:
- Retail experience preferred.
- Computer experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication and public relations skills required.
- Must be able to greet public in a friendly, courteous manner.
- Tennis knowledge preferred.
- Must be able to lift up to 30lbs.
Safety Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Performs job responsibilities according to the company safety and training programs.
- Reports safety or hazard concerns to management.
- Reports any on the job injury to management.
- Takes personal responsibility for safety every day.
