About the Position
The Parks & Community Services Department is seeking a dynamic person with a proven track record of motivating staff and providing innovative approaches to lead the Robinswood Tennis Center. In addition to strong leadership and sound management skills, the position requires the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of people, both internal and external customers. The chosen candidate demonstrates a continuous improvement mindset, welcomes change, and confidently recommends innovative solutions that challenge conventional approaches when appropriate. The candidate will also support a collaborative One City organizational approach and effort to achieve high performance.
Robinswood Tennis Center operates as an Enterprise Program, which is charged with attaining full cost recovery of all assigned costs including direct operating expenses, maintenance, and select department and City overhead. While the Robinswood Tennis Center primarily serves Bellevue residents, it is also considered a regional public facility. Its mission is: "We build community through the sport of tennis." The tennis center serves as a community resource, offering year-round public access, along with programs and events for people of all ages and abilities.
The Tennis Center Manager is responsible for supervising and managing the daily operations of the Robinswood Tennis Center by coordinating, scheduling, and providing a variety of tennis programs and services as well as providing oversight of the City's outdoor tennis and pickleball courts. Work schedule may require some evening and weekend hours.

Paydays - The City of Bellevue pays employees on the 8th and the 23rd of each month (24 pay periods per year).
Please note: The City of Bellevue does not participate in the Social Security Administration (SSA) program and employees do not earn social security credits. The mandatory DRS retirement pension plan provides the required social security replacement plan.
