Position: Temporary Workday HCM Analyst
Type: Temp, 4 Month Assignment
Compensation Range: $50 to $60 per hour
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Workday HCM Analyst to provide implementation and post-production support during a critical phase of our Workday deployment. This temporary assignment will focus on Workday configuration, data conversion, testing, transaction processing, reporting, project coordination, user readiness, and production support through go-live and post-production stabilization. The ideal candidate has hands-on Workday implementation experience and can operate independently with minimal ramp-up. Experience supporting Benefits, Open Enrollment, and year-end benefits activities is strongly preferred.
General Responsibilities
- Support configuration, optimization, and ongoing maintenance of Workday Core HCM and related modules, with primary emphasis on Core HCM and Benefits.
- Support data conversion activities, including workbook preparation, validation, reconciliation, and catch-up transaction processing.
- Support post-production stabilization activities, including backlog remediation, system enhancements, report development, security validation, issue triage, and ongoing production support.
- Troubleshoot Workday configuration, reporting, data, security, and integration issues in collaboration with implementation partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Support planning and execution by maintaining project trackers (including RAID logs and backlogs), monitoring action items and dependencies, and proactively completing assigned activities.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to system configuration, testing, business processes, operational procedures, and knowledge transfer to support implementation and ongoing system administration.
- Provide knowledge transfer, user readiness, and post-go-live support to HR team members and business stakeholders, including guidance on Workday functionality, navigation, and business processes.
Benefits & Open Enrollment Responsibilities
- Support Benefits configuration, testing, and validation activities.
- Assist with Open Enrollment preparation, execution, and issue resolution.
- Support year-end benefits updates, annual configuration changes, and production readiness.
- Perform benefits-related transactions, data validation, and reconciliation activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- 3-6 years of direct hands-on Workday HCM configuration experience
- Workday Benefits configuration and Open Enrollment experience strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting data conversion and implementation workbooks.
- Workday reporting experience including custom reports, calculated fields, dashboards, and EIBs.
- Experience supporting one or more Workday implementations preferred.
- Ability to operate independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
