YOUR NEW ROLE AS OUR TEMPORARY WEED CONTROL FIELD AIDE
This is a part-time, temporary position based in West Fargo, ND. Hours may vary depending on operational needs and weather conditions.
In this Weed Control Field Aide role, your day begins outdoors, scouting landscapes across Cass County and identifying invasive and noxious weed populations before deciding on the best course of action. You'll apply control methods using chemical, mechanical, and biological techniques, all while mapping sites with GPS technology to ensure accurate tracking. Between fieldwork, you'll update data in Excel and mapping systems, maintain equipment, and collaborate with the Weed Officer. Each day brings new terrain, new challenges, and the rewarding knowledge that your work directly protects the local environment.
