Essential Job Functions Include:

• Operating trucks, tractors, mowers, weed eaters, towing equipment trailers, and other related equipment.
• Using standard toolsand equipment of the trades in a safe manner.
• Cleaning and caring for tools and equipment.
• Performing general labor duties such as cutting grass, weed eating, etc.
• Performing other tasks as required.

Competency: Knowledge/skills

• General knowledge of the safe use, operation, and preventative maintenance of common grounds equipment.
• Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
• A knowledge of hazards and precautions involved in using ground equipment.

Physical Conditions

• Must have the ability to perform manual labor/strenuous physical tasks and use equipment for extended periods in various weather conditions, including inclement weather.
• Must be able to lift and carry items weighing 25-100 pounds.
• Requires bending or stooping; Operation of complex gasoline, diesel or electric-powered machinery and equipment.
