Primary Purpose of Position
The Housing and Residence Life Administrative Program Assistant is a 20-hour-per-week position that supports the daily operations of the department through a variety of administrative tasks, including data management, scheduling, correspondence, assisting with student conduct hearings, and office support. In select areas, the position provides functional supervision and guidance to Resident Assistants, including monitoring performance, supporting documentation, and reinforcing departmental policies. The role collaborates closely with professional staff to ensure efficient operations and positive residential experience for students. This position offers valuable experience in higher education administration, student supervision, and residential life operations.
Primary Function of Organizational Unit
The primary purpose of the Housing and Residence Life department is to provide housing accommodation and a certain quality of life for over 6000 students and various campus and conferences in the summer.
Work Hours
Work hours are flexible with focus on student centered peak times. Hours are no more than 20 hours / week.
