Instructor Overview

Camden County College is seeking a temporary part-time Patient Care Technician Instructor to join our team. Position Goals

The Patient Care Technician Instructor will:

Essential Functions

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver approved curriculum on a daily basis.
  • Plan and organize instructional materials, supply, inventory, equipment.
  • Evaluate and assist in the resolution of student concerns.
  • Prepare lesson plans and course syllabus.
  • Track student grades and attendance.
  • Submit grades and attendance on a monthly basis.
  • Lead, inspire, motivate, and advise students to actively participate in all aspects of their educational process.
  • Maintain expertise in the subject area.
  • Provide regular, accurate, and timely feedback to students and the school concerning academics, behavior, attendance, etc.
  • Assist Program Manager with coordination of student externships.
  • Comply with all safety, fire, and smoking regulations.
  • Complete all mandatory compliance and safety training as scheduled by Human Resources.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience working in Patient Care.
  • Current industry certification required, such as RMA, CMA, PCT, or similar.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of teaching experience preferred.

The Patient Care programs run from February through May at Camden County College affiliate - Cooper University Hospital, Cape Regional, located in Cape May Court House, NJ.
