General Purpose
Under general supervision, provides a variety of assistance to faculty and students in an assigned academic department, lab or center; schedules appointments, coordinates with instructors and arranges for and proctors tests, following established procedures applicable to individual students; scores tests and enters data in student records; maintains a clean, safe and orderly laboratory and learning environment; and performs related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Graduation from high school or GED equivalent and at least one year of responsible experience providing instructional or tutorial assistance to students; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Certain assignments may require a California drivers license and the ability to maintain insurability under the Districts vehicle insurance program.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this class, employees are regularly required to sit; talk or hear, in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to finger, handle, feel or operate standard office equipment; and reach with hands and arms. Thursday - 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
