Temporary HR Generalist (Maternity Leave Coverage)
Location: Van Nuys, CA (Fully Onsite)
Duration: Immediate Start - October 31, 2026, possibility of going permanent
Compensation: $38-$45 per hour (DOE)
We are currently seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team on a temporary basis to provide maternity leave coverage. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is available to begin as early as next week.
This role is fully onsite in Van Nuys, CA, and will play a key part in ensuring continuity of HR operations during the assignment period.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day support for HR operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows
Serve as a point of contact for employee relations matters, offering guidance and support as needed
Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including coordination of documentation and system updates
Maintain and update employee records within HR systems (Workday)
Assist with HR compliance, documentation, and reporting
Support various HR administrative functions and special projects as required
Qualifications
Proven experience in an HR Generalist or similar HR role
Hands-on experience with Workday is required
Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, and procedures
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced setting
Availability to start immediately and commit through the full assignment duration (through October 31, 2026)
