Job Summary
Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services and the Division Director, President of Teachers College of San Joaquin, the Support Supervisor is responsible for all phases of supervision of candidates and for covering all Course Learning Outcomes identified within the course. The supervisor works one-on-one with the candidate to evaluate and support growth as they learn to manage all responsibilities required of a teacher of record. Support Supervisors are required to regularly attend program trainings and meetings to stay apprised of TCSJ policies and procedures.

• Possess a valid California Teaching Credential. • Teachers College of San Joaquin accepts applications for part-time positions on a continuous basis. Although the position is posted year-round, it does not imply there are immediate openings. Applying helps the Teachers College of San Joaquin create a pool of applicants who are eager to work with one of the various programs offered at TCSJ. When there is an opening for an instructor for a particular course, the coordinator reviews applications to determine if there is an applicant with the appropriate experience, expertise, and credentials required to fill the position. If an applicants background matches the needs of the course, the program coordinator will contact the applicant for further consideration to be hired. Applications are valid for approximately one year from submittal. If after one year, you have not been contacted but you wish to remain in the pool, you will need to re-apply.
