What Youll Do
- Perform specialized cardiac, vascular, and electrophysiology studies in the cath lab.
- Serve as a lead technologist and resource for medical staff, ensuring optimal workflow.
- Collaborate with intra-procedure teams to deliver safe, effective patient care.
- Assist with patient preparation, room setup, and equipment calibration.
- Maintain and troubleshoot lab equipment, ensuring operational readiness.
- Follow all safety protocols, including Universal Protocol and site marking procedures.
- Keep up with the latest advancements in cardiovascular technology through continuing education.
- Adhere to applicable regulations, standards, and accreditation requirements.
What You Need
Required:
- Current Texas license or similar state licensure in radiologic technology or cardiovascular technology
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a cath lab or cardiovascular setting
Preferred:
- Certification in cardiovascular technology or registry
- Experience with electrophysiology procedures
- Familiarity with specialized equipment maintenance
