We currently have an exciting opportunity in our Temporary Services department. This position specifically is located in Norfolk, Virginia. We are looking for a Temporary Service Coordinator. The work schedule is 0600 to 1445.

PURPOSE AND FUNCTIONS
The Fire/Temporary Services Coordinator provides operational and technical support to the Programs Department through the implementation and oversight of Temporary/Fire Services Management Plans associated with ship repair, overhaul, and modernization activities. This role coordinates shipboard temporary structures, firefighting systems, laydown areas, hydrostatic testing support, and fire safety compliance activities across multiple departments and external stakeholders.
This position requires extensive coordination with Waterfront Operations, Environmental Health & Safety, Planning, Engineering, Scheduling, Facilities, Supply Chain Management, subcontractors, and government representatives to ensure temporary fire protection systems and associated services remain compliant, operational, and aligned with NAVSEA requirements throughout each availability.
