What You’ll Do:
  • Provide expert nursing care to cardiovascular ICU patients, including post-operative open-heart surgery cases and patients undergoing procedures like PTCA, stents, TAVR, MitraClip, and pacemaker insertions.
  • Monitor patient responses, administer medications, and manage complex cardiovascular conditions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and clinical standards.
  • Document patient care accurately and timely.
  • Support research initiatives and clinical trials within the CVU when applicable.

What You Need:
  • Valid RN license in Michigan
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU or cardiovascular experience
  • Strong clinical judgment and patient assessment skills
  • Ability to work night shifts reliably and within team settings
  • Knowledge of cardiovascular procedures and patient care protocols
